When a client hires a consultant, it’s very much like a corporation who has hires a meeting planner to organize an event. The consultant is working for the client to help organize their wedding, as you are hired to photograph the day’s events, or provide entertainment, etc.

The consultant will refer vendors that are reputable, dependable and those that they have networked with through the ABC. Can you imagine a wedding consultant not asking a client “Who is your photographer? Or videographer? Or DJ?” In turn, vendors should be asking their clients “Who is your wedding consultant?” The consultant is also there to work with you to help make the clients wedding day memorable.

A wedding consultant will work with your client on an on-going basis, many times providing answers to questions that concern them – thus giving vendors and facility management teams more time to book their calendar and sell their property to other clients! Remember, just one wedding consultant can easily represent 30 to 50 clients each year – that’s a lot of FREE advertising!
